My name is Katherine Perez, but you can call me Kat. I am an artist focused on creating works with a narrative both digitally and with traditional mediums. I am based in Oakland, California where I grew up and have been shaped by. Graffiti, public art, and the urban landscape have also influenced my concepts and ideas. The illustrations I like to create include mundane scenes of everyday life with a bit of humor, dynamic perspectives, and colors. One of my favorite genres throughout all media is science fiction which inspires me to pursue originality within my conceptual work and has driven me to depict the cityscape in a few of my pieces you see below.
